Introducing Blood & Ink, a bold collaboration with the exceptionally talented tattoo artist Freddie Albrighton, bringing his art to life in a unique concept combining sweet, jammy fruit with the subtle salty flavour of deep, black squid ink.
Freddie Albrighton and Vault City have something in common: we’re both big fans of each other’s work.
Freddie is a tattoo artist of 10 years, currently based in the West Midlands, UK. Recently his artwork gained worldwide recognition after he reached the finale on Season 15 of the tattoo reality TV show, Ink Master, being the first contestant from the UK to compete. Alongside tattooing and art he has a passion for great beer, particularly sour beer, which led to our collaboration: Blood & Ink.
About Vault City:
Big flavours and bright colours, that’s what you can expect from Vault City Brewing. They are the UK’s biggest sour beer producer and have been making fruit-forward, modern sour beers in Edinburgh since 2018.
Their mixed fermentation style and distinctive house culture create the perfect base for real fruit ingredients, which gives their beer its intense aroma and flavour, not to mention the eye-catching colours.
